So often we get so wrapped up in what is going on in our own lives that we forget their is always someone in a worst situation. It will keep things in perspective every time.  We at Sowing  4 Jesus are  working with a family that  is living in a hotel. Mom and Dad both lost their jobs from Covid-19. Of course Unemployment hasn't kicked in, and most of us know what a mess that whole system is and how long it is taking to get even a piece of payment.  Anyway this family is living in a hotel with 3 young boys ages 5,3 and 1.  This is the topper the dad has been back and forth in the hospital for a couple of weeks because he doesn't want to leave his young family without him.  But the dad is having issues with his pancreas , the hospital told him not to leave but he couldn't let his family be put on the street. The hotel they are living in has allowed them to stay , without payment  now they are  at 3 days and have to pay and don't have any funding .  OH my goodness!!! What would you do? They are so nice too. About one month ago the husband was hit from behind and  totaled their little car, so they don't have transportation either, as a alternative living situation. What do you do?? Do you ignore the need? Do you do nothing?  Do you say I have no way to help? We get it , but if you can you help, will you help? or is it just not your problem? We get that too. It has been a very interesting week. Our cities are filled with violence and discord about a very tragic  death of  George Floyd.  Do we dwell on the negative or do we do something to help? Do we talk about about it or do something about it? The clean up in our area is needed are people coming out to restore what has been destroyed? Are you doing your part? You ask what part is that? Have you supported a cause that helps? Have you hid in your home , afraid to do anything? No  we all have to  do something, even if it seems just a little bit, DO SOMETHING!!!
​We were out today right in the same area as the riots , giving out food to the needs of  our community. One lady was so happy, as she cares for her elderly family members, and they had no diapers to keep them well. Will you do something? Anything? God  is in control of  all things!! we have the ability to help,  $5, $10,$15 will help feed  friends on the street, elderly in their homes, young families struggling to make ends meat. Will you be a doer or just a hearer? Support our Ministry, if not us them someone, Do something out our normal. God is doing a New Thing, Will  you not know it??
