Sometimes you reach out to a family and that blessing , comes back at you. A family that is dear to our hearts, ran into a family living in their car and they immediately called us to help this family. So this family moved here from another state with the expectation of the husband starting a brand new job. They got her Nov. 1 of this year. Well needless to say the job did not work out , it turned out to be a interview and nothing came of it. The family consists of a Mom , Dad and 3 children, 1,3,7. They had enough to get them by a little while, but then the money ran out. They are living in their car, the housing project in town had not openings. As you may not know shelters and housing places are always full during the holidays. So we have been working with this family to try to help them find permanent housing, and steady work. People forget about small organizations , but they do help and support when needs arrive. Will you help us help this family? They are currently in a hotel but just for now, funding has run out again for them and if we all do our part we can help each other. Visit our site www.sowing4jesus.org. Thanks
Well most people consider us the food people . We have been delivering, collecting and distributing food to our community and neighboring communities for over 20 years. We do what we can for whoever needs assistance. We are so happy to be doing what we do and we have always taught our children to do the same. From small they have been helping us help the community. Now that they are adults and have their own lives , they still come to help us, in the communities we live in. As we progress in the calling God has on our lives. We see things happening for affordable housing, and drug and alcoholic rehabilitation. We currently do a food pantry, and have need of many things. A new location since Hurricane Maria 2 years ago, we continue to search for the location God has for us. Most of our supplies are stored in our home and are transported out to our community because of the loss of our location 2 years ago. We rent Uhaul vans for transportation needs, but we hope we will be purchasing a cargo van for the service we have to our community very soon.
